- Open your Twitter app.
- Tap the Notifications icon.
- Select the conversation.
- Tap Menu.
- Choose the Leave this conversation option.
- Confirm your action to quit the conversation.

Launch the Twitter mobile app and tap the Notifications icon visible at the bottom of the screen.

Select the tweet that has your name mentioned or Twitter handle added to it. Tap the Menu icon (visible as 3 horizontal dots), adjacent to the tweet.

It will display a list of options. Select the Leave this conversation option as shown in the image above.

When prompted to confirm the action, hit the Leave this conversation button.
Wait for the notification to appear. It confirms that you have quit the information.

- Stop notifications – You won’t receive further notifications but can still see and read the conversation.
Note – If you can’t see the Leave this conversation option for a tweet that mentions your name or it appears greyed out, try updating the app to the latest version, and then, try again!
