  1. Tap Shortcuts icon to launch the app.
  2. Choose Make GIF tile.
  3. Allow the app to access your photos.
  4. Select a video to convert to GIF.
  5. Edit the video to a desired length.
  6. Hit Done button to complete the GIF creation.

Can you convert video to GIF on iPhone?

Yes! If you’ve captured a video yourself and want it to be converted into a GIF, enable the Shortcut widget in the Shortcuts app iPhone to get the task done. GIFs are quite popular on blogs, social media, and instant messaging applications, often used as emotive reactions.

How to create GIF on iPhone?

Go to your iPhone Home Screen and tap the Shortcuts app icon.

Under the All Shortcuts screen, scroll down to the Starter Shortcuts folder. Tap the Make GIF tile to get started. If the Make GIF tile is not visible to you, add it to the screen by tapping the ‘+’ icon > Add Action button.

When prompted to allow access to your Photos app, grant the access and proceed further.
