Set your HomePod alarm sound to a song from Apple Music

June 1, 2021 by Hemant Saxena

Traditionally, an Alarm clock has been the go-to way to wake up someone after a good night’s sleep. It’s now becoming a thing of the past as smart speakers are now helping peeps to wake up to their favorite song instead of a buzzer or tone. Let us in this post, discover how to change the HomePod alarm sound to your favorite song in Apple Music.

How to change HomePod alarm sound to a song from Apple Music?

Apple’s HomePod smart speaker lets you ditch your old-school alarm clock and wake up to something more refreshing and livelier. If you’ve subscribed to Apple Music streaming service and have a large digital music library, you can set your HomePod alarm sound to your favorite song from Apple Music. Here’s how!

  1. Go to the Home app on your iOS or iPadOS device.
  2. Tap and hold a HomePod under Accessory.
  3. Hit the Alarm button.
  4. Choose Play Media option.
  5. Select the Choose Media option to navigate to a song or playlist.
  6. Tap the item.
  7. Turn on Repeat or Shuffle.
  8. Tap Done.

Folks suffering from Sleep Inertia or starting their day with a lack of alacrity can experience a difference by just setting the right tune.

Similarly, to set a custom volume for the alarm, tap Use Custom Volume, then drag the slider.

Hit the Done button.

Hereafter, you’ll wake you up to your favorite song if you’ve set up an alarm with the Apple HomePod.

Hope that makes sense!
