- On your iPhone, launch the Watch app.
- Switch to the Face Gallery tab.
- Choose Portraits Watch Faces.
- Tap Choose Photos heading.
- Select a Portrait photo.
- Hit the Add button.
- Tap the Add button again.
- See your Portrait photo set as Apple Watch Wallpaper.
The portrait photo will be cropped to focus on the person in it, fit the display and integrate the time.
How do I put a picture on my Apple Watch face?
Portrait Watch Face watchOS 8 feature allows you to showcase Portrait images of your iPhone on your Apple Watch. To enable it, launch the Watch app on your iPhone. Note – your iPhone should be running iOS 15 or later.
Switch to the Face Gallery tab at the bottom of the screen. When directed to a new screen, locate the Portrait watch face at the top of the page. When found, tap to open it.
Scroll down a bit to find Choose photos link.
Hit the link to select a Portrait photo. You can add up to 24 portrait photos. Tap the Add button, visible in the upper-right corner of the app screen.
Now, hit the Add button below the Portrait heading under the Face Gallery screen.
Once done, your iPhone portrait photo will be set as Apple Watch face. If needed, you can rotate the Digital Crown to zoom in on the subject of the photo.
