How to use Whatsapp for video call in a group

Knowing how to use WhatsApp for video call in a group can help you stay connected with your family members and friends. Even for the contacts living overseas, the messaging service allows free video calling over Wi-Fi and mobile data. This makes it a preferred choice for tête-à-tête. All you need is a good internet connection to get started.

How to use Whatsapp for video call in a group?

Just like its normal messages and calls, Whatsapp for video call in a group support end-to-end encryption. This makes your communication both, private and secure. Here’s a step-by-step guide you can use to setup a video call.

  1. Launch WhatsApp on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the Calls icon.
  3. Select the Phone icon.
  4. Hit the New Group Call link.
  5. Choose people from your WhatsApp contact list.
  6. Tap the Camera icon to start a video call.
  7. To add mode people to the group video calling WhatsApp, hit the Add People button.
  8. Choose a contact and confirm the action by tapping the Add link.

For group video calling WhatsApp, it’s important to have a good Internet connection speed. A poor connection will result in poor video and audio quality.

How do you call everyone in a WhatsApp group?

To enable group video calling in WhatsApp, launch the app on your iPhone.

Tap the Calls icon, located at the bottom of the app screen.

When directed to a new screen, hit the Phone icon, visible with a plus sign alongside it.

Now, tap New Group Call link to add participants to your group video calling app.

Next, tap the Video Camera icon, next to participants list to start a video call.

Allow the participants to join the call.

If at any point, you feel like adding more participants to the group, simply hit the Add People button.

Then, choose the contact and confirm adding him by hitting the Add button.

To end the group call, tap the Close button.

WhatsApp group video call limit?

Earlier, the number of participants you could have on a WhatsApp video or voice call were limited to 4. This limit has now been extended up to 8 participants. Still, video calling with a maximum of eight participants is comparatively a smaller number.

How many admins can a WhatsApp group have?

A group in WhatsApp messaging service can have any number of admins as any admin in a group can make a participant an admin. Moreover, the original creator of a group i.e., the first admin can’t be removed. He/she continues to remain an admin unless they exit the group themselves.
