How to enable iMessage text effects on your iPhone
For animation-obsessed pals, Apple adds 2 unique iPhone message tricks that cause certain words to animate while sending iMessage text effects to others. these are the Bubble & Screen animations. Here’s how to use them!
- Open Messages app
- Type a message
- Press and hold the Blue arrow button until Send with effect screen appears.
- Select any one iPhone message effect.
- Switch to the Screen tab and send the message with Echo, Spotlight, Balloons, Love, or other animations.
What words trigger effects on iPhone?
These iPhone text message effects are primarily used to enhance text appearance sent between iOS devices and can be easily enabled by typing key phrases, such as Happy Birthday, Congratulations, Happy New Year, Pew Pew, etc.
How to use iPhone text message effects?
Open the texting editor, and tap Compose to compose a new message.
When finished, a blue arrow icon pointing upwards should become visible to you.
Tap and hold the button to show up on the Send with effect screen.
By default, the Bubble tab is selected.
Under it, choose the desired option – Slam, Loud, Gentle or Invisible Ink and send the message.
To enable Screen effects, switch to the Screen tab. Choose the desired screen effect (9 options are available).
Hit the Send button.
