Apple Maps app Nearby feature is like Google Maps Nearby in a sense, it helps users locate their favorite places, gas stations, popular attractions, and other places near them. Until now, the feature was available in few selected regions but has now been expanded to 45 countries, including India.

To access the Apple Maps app Search Nearby feature, you’ll need to follow the steps given below!

  1. Launch Maps app on your iPhone.
  2. In the Search bar type what you are looking for.
  3. Check the list of the frequently searched places, alongside the distance from your place and reviews.
  4. Select an option
  5. Tap on the Directions option when prompted.
  6. Hit the ‘Go’ button to proceed to the route.
  7. Follow step-by-step navigation.
  8. Tap on the End button to end step-by-step navigation.

Launch the Maps app on your iPhone or iPad.

In the search bar that appears at the bottom of the Maps app, enter a query.

Check the list of the frequently searched places, nearby. The option should give you all the details related to its distance from your place and its reviews.

Pick the desired option from the drop-down list.

Tap the ‘Directions’ option, when displayed.

Follow the step-by-step navigation to reach your destination.

Upon reaching the destination, tap the ‘End’ button to end your journey.
