How to track coronavirus cases worldwide with Bing Covid-19 Tracker for iOS

As the world grapples with the fear of corona virus and increase in the number of virus-related infection deaths, Microsoft has come up with a unique tool to help you stay informed. Its search engine Bing has rolled out a new live dashboard – Bing Covid-19 Tracker to track the COVID-19 outbreak.

Bing Covid-19 Tracker for iOS

The Dashboard can be opened via Bing Search app for iOS or accessed via Bing.com. Upon launch, the Dashboard walks you through an interactive map that allows users to click on the country and find the number of cases it has. The website offers up-to-date infection statistics for each country.

Covid-19 hotspots are shown as red circles. Here, if you would like to compare cases by region, simply choose the graph and find the number of

  • Confirmed cases
  • Active
  • Recovered
  • Fatal

In addition, you can see the breakdown of the number of those infected with corona virus is represented by a ‘Graph’. You can also find related articles from a variety of publishers. Links to the latest news stories are integrated into the map.

Trending data represents changes over the last 24 hours and iscollected from multiple sources like,

  • World Health Organization
  • US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC)
  • European Centre for Disease Prevention andControl (ECDC)

News & Videos section provide local information,including the latest news stories and videos. This can be useful in cases whereyou would like to know if there’s any advisory issued by the local governmentfor public health and safety.

Since, the statistics shown, update at different times, itmay not always align. Some regions may not provide complete breakdown ofCOVID-19 related stats.
