Thanks to location-sharing apps like WhatsApp, picking up the location of a friend or a family member has now become easier than ever. What’s remarkable about this Live Location feature sharing service is that it not only informs the members about your arrival time but also if you’ve made it safely to your destination or not. So, if you would like to share your real-time location for a specific amount of time with the participants of an individual or group chat, learn the trick to share location on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp location not working?
If the feature is not working for you, go to WhatsApp Settings > Account > Privacy > Live Location and select the chat of the person to share the live location. Also, make sure, you have the Location Services enabled (see the above description).
Lastly, it is important to know that when you share your real-time location with someone on Whatsapp, a blue, blinking ring appears around the person’s thumbnail. It means you are connected to the Internet and the connection is working properly. However, when you see a red circle instead of blue, it means the Internet is disconnected. This is temporary. Once the connection is established, the ring turns blue again!
Hope that makes sense!
