Share a Tweet on Snapchat with friends directly

Earlier, if you wanted to share a tweet on other social networking platforms like Snapchat, you had to follow the long and arduous route. You were required to capture the Twitter screen and then, upload it to Snapchat. Fortunately, this distance has been cut short by a new feature. Learn the trick to share a tweet on Snapchat with friends.

How to share a Tweet on Snapchat Story using the built-in Twitter feature?

Some of the tweets have the potential to go viral on platforms other than Twitter. As such, Twitter has enabled a Twitter Snapchat support feature that lets you share a tweet on Snapchat with friends directly. See how it’s done!

  1. Launch the Twitter app.
  2. Search for a Tweet you want to share.
  3. Tap the Sharing icon.
  4. Choose the Snap Camera label.
  5. Tap the Camera button at the bottom of the Snapchat screen.
  6. Tap the Send To button.
  7. Choose My Story.
  8. Hit the Send button to share a tweet to Snapchat

How to post a Tweet to your Snapchat Story?

Launch the Twitter app for iOS.

Search for a Tweet you would like to post to your Snapchat Story.

Tap the Sharing icon, adjacent to the Twitter Likes icon.

Under the Share Via menu, choose Snap Camera.

If prompted with Twitter wants to open the Snapchat message, tap Open. This will enable Twitter-Snapchat share integration.

Tap the Snapchat Camera button. If you would like to decorate your tweet share snap and send it to your friends, use the Editing tools aligned vertically and hit the Send To button.

When directed to a new screen, select My Story.

Tap Send button again. That’s all you need to do to share a tweet on Snapchat.

Can I share a tweet with Snapchat friends on Android?

The Snapchat Twitter support capability, for now, is available for Apple devices like the iPhone and iPad only. We hope to see the tweet to Snapchat feature soon for Android devices also.

Snap Camera icon is not visible under Twitter Share Menu?

If you do not see the Snap Camera icon under the Twitter Share menu, wait for a few seconds and allow the list to populate. If you still can’t see the icon, try updating the Twitter app. Go to the App Store > Top Free Apps > Twitter and tap the name (Twitter) to update the app. The Snap Camera icon should then become visible!
