Twitter is a place where a piece of breaking news comes in first, links are shared extensively, and memes are created. So, it’s quite easy to join and start a conversation on Twitter. But many people are not aware of Twitter Trends and how to use it to see the trends for specific locations. Well, that's not a problem anymore! This short guide will walk you through the process.
How to enable Twitter trends for a specific location
Twitter displays trends based on your location and who you follow. Just like Twitter trends worldwide, you can see trends for a specific location from your Twitter account. Here's how to set up Twitter trends for a region.
- Open the Twitter app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your Profile icon.
- Choose Settigs and Privacy.
- Scroll down to Privacy and safety.
- Under the Your Twitter activity screen, move to the Content you see section.
- Choose the Explore settings.
- Enable Show content in your current location.
The process of finding regional topics trending on Twitter is straightforward. However, regardless of the changes you make, most of the world and local news events and conversations will continue to appear in your trends.

Twitter 'Show Content in your current location' feature not working?
When you don't find your preferred country or city, it means Twitter is not receiving enough Tweets from that area or generating enough Twitter geographic data to create a list. In such a case, trends for the specific location will not be visible.
