How to mark all emails as read on Apple Watch via a simple setting

When you have your smartwatch paired to your iPhone, any new mail received on your phone will also be delivered to your watch and you’ll see a notification regarding the same. Take the following steps to manage Apple watch mail notification or find how to mark all emails as read on Apple Watch.

  1. Press Digital Crown on your smartwatch.
  2. Select a Mail app from the options displayed.
  3. Choose a message.
  4. Press firmly on screen to make the watch display 4 new options.
  5. Select Read or Unread to mark the mail under mail notifications.

Can you check email on Apple Watch?

Yes! You can check emails on Apple Watch. Simply choose the accounts and mailboxes by tapping the Mail app icon on your Apple Watch and selecting messages from all inboxes. 

How to mark all mail as read?

Press the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch to show the list of apps.

Tap the Mail icon to open the app.

Select all the message you would like to mark as read.

Press and hold the finger on the Watch screen for few seconds.

Choose the Read option.

Alternatively, you can flag the messages or remove them from the same view.

Apple watch mail notifications not working

If you find emails are not updating on Apple watch or you see no mail notifications on the screen, go to the ‘Settings’ app, tap ‘Mail’ and select ‘Notifications’. Make sure, the Allow Notifications toggle is enabled.

Then, tap your email account and enable alert for all 3 styles,

  • Lock Screen
  • Notification Center
  • Banners

 That’s all there is to it!
