Check the photo album storage on Apple Watch

- Unlock Apple Watch by entering the passcode.
- Press the Digital Crown.
- Open Settings.
- Go to General > Storage.
- On iPhone, tap the My Watch icon.
- Go to General > Storage.
The only necessary condition to start with the process is that you should have the album synced from your iPhone.
How do I check my media storage on my Apple Watch?
You can check media storage via both, Apple Watch and your iPhone.
For Apple Watch
Unlock Apple Watch by entering the passcode.
Press the Digital Crown to open the list of apps in Grid View or List View.
Next, tap the Settings icon visible on the screen.

Scroll down to the General settings and then navigate to the Storage icon to check the amount of space used.

Similarly, if you would like to view the number of photos stored on your Apple Watch, head to the General section of the Settings and tap the About heading.
For iPhone

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap the Watch icon on your iPhone HomeScreen.
Switch to the My Watch tab at the bottom of the screen.

Then, navigate to the General section and choose the Storage entry visible there. Wait for the app to calculate category sizes.
Photo Albums in iPhone lets you organize photos in albums. You can also use folders to group albums together or create a shared album for your friends and family. Your Apple Watch too, stores photos from a single synced photo album on your iPhone.
Any changes made to these photos in the Apple watch are reflected almost instantly in the iPhone. So, although Apple Watch’s screen size appears small, it’s still large enough to show off your most liked pictures when the smartphone is out of reach or range.
