- Unlock your Apple Watch by entering the passcode.
- Press the Digital Crown to open the Apps screen.
- Go to the Settings app.
- Select Clock.
- Find and enable the Speak Time option.
- Choose the Always Speak option to enable this function.
- Press and hold the watch face with two fingers to hear the time.
An alternative way to make your digital clock tell the time is to ask Siri to speak time. Just raise your wrist and say “What time is it?”
How to make apple watch say time out loud?
Assuming you are wearing the watch, press the Digital Crown to open the apps screen.
Now, go to the Settings app.
Here, scroll down and to find the Clock option. If found, select the Clock option.
When directed to a new screen, toggle the switch next to the Speak Time option to On position.
Upon enabling this feature, select whether you want the Apple Watch to speak the time even when Silent mode is enabled or not.
Tap the Always Speak option to enable this function.

If Speak Time is not working on your Smartwatch, there’s a workaround for it. You can try and enable it via the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Launch the app, tap the ‘My Watch’ button at the bottom left.
Now, scroll down to Clock option and tap it. There, you will see a Speak Time option you can turn on or off.
