How to enable Echo Stereo pair compatibility

With more additions to its range of speakers, Amazon is also expanding the list of functions its Echo Speakers have to offer. For instance, one of the benefits of installing multiple Amazon Echo speakers at your Home is you can create an Echo Stereo pair. If you happen to be a Smart Home enthusiast, we’ll show you how it’s done!

How to create Echo Stereo pair using two same types of speakers?

Before we get into the details of how to pair two echo dots together, make sure you have two of the same types of speakers. Then, proceed with the steps below to enable the Echo Stereo pair connection.

  1. Open the Amazon Alexa app on your Smartphone.
  2. Tap the Devices icon.
  3. Hit the + icon in the top right corner.
  4. Tap Set Up Audio System.
  5. Choose Stereo Pair.
  6. Select two of the same type of speaker you would want to stereo pair together.
  7. Set a channel for each speaker

Can you connect multiple devices to Alexa?

With the Alexa app, you can do almost everything with a simple voice command. You can connect multiple devices to the app and also set up Amazon echo stereo pair Bluetooth connectivity.

Launch the Alexa app and tap the Devices icon, located at the bottom of the screen.

Next, choose + icon visible in the upper-right corner.

Now, to create a Stereo Pair, select Set Up Audio System.

When prompted with ‘Which audio system would you like to set up? select the Stereo Pair option.

Tap the same type of speakers to stereo pair.

Set the channel for each speaker.

Allow the connection to establish.

Once set up, you’re ready to rock n’ roll.

Echo Stereo pair not working?

Both speakers need to be in the same room and within a meter distance of each other for setup and pairing to work.

Amazon Echo Stereo pair problems

It is important to know that you can’t use separate models or generations of speakers and devices with screens that are not supported. So, make sure you have two of the same types of Echo speakers.
