Apple Music offers unlimited access to millions of songs. Plus, you can discover new tracks and add them to your Library to listen across all your devices. Turn On Apple Music release notifications?
More and more people are turning to music apps like Apple Music to provide them with a more customized entertainment experience. The tech giant seemingly aware of this development has roped in the new Apple Music releases feature. It notifies you about new release music right in your Library.
- Launch the Apple Music App.
- Tap your Account profile.
- Choose Notifications.
- toggle the switch for the new Music to On position.
- Enable or disable Show in the Library option.
New releases on Apple Music appear at the top of the ‘Library’ tab in the Music app. So, when an artist you have in your Apple Music Library releases a new song or album, you’ll receive a notification banner at the top of the Library interface.
How can I be notified when new music comes out?
To enable alerts for Apple Music releases, open the Music app on your iPhone or iPad and then do the following.
Go to the ‘For You’ tab and tap your profile on the top.
Turn on the toggle for ‘New Music’ and then when it displays, the toggle for ‘Show in Library’ too.
If you would not like to show it in Library, slide the toggle to the off position.
If you haven’t subscribed to Apple Music, these alerts will show up on your iOS machine’s ‘Lock Screen’ and ‘Notification Center’. If you don’t want to be bothered by these notifications, you can disable them easily.
Hope that makes sense!
