Even if you are a highly skilled Twitterati, there is a good chance of you missing the point at the time of composing a tweet and not realizing it. While you can craft your perfect response by editing the post, the lesser-known rule of Twitter is there’s no editing option. So, how to edit a Twitter post once it’s posted? Don’t know?? Worry not, read this post to get started!
How to edit a Twitter post after posting the tweet?
Although Twitter offers no edit button it doesn’t mean you can’t create one and use it. A third-party tool – Brizzly+ offers something remarkably close to it. See how to edit a Twitter post on the iPhone with the Brizzly edit tweet function!
- Go to Brizzly website.
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Add payment details (there’s a 2-week free trial period)
- Authorize the app to access your account.
- Save the changes.
- Go to Brizzly+ Home.
- Compose a tweet and hit the Send button.
- If you forgot something to add, press Undo.
- Edit the tweet and hit Send button.
Can you edit a tweet?
Yes, with Brizzly+ you can Undo, Redo, Auto-delete, and take other actions on your Twitter post. It works as a smart do-over for Twitter since the platform itself doesn’t allow for true editing. The service basically copies your current post into a new text area, enabling you to edit tweets, post a new tweet, or delete the source tweet.
How to edit tweet?
To edit the post on Twitter, go to the Brizzly Website and enter your email address. Alternatively, you can choose to sign in with your Google account.
When prompted to enter your payment details, fill in the required fields.

What to do if you don’t like Brizzly+?
There is a 2-week free trial. So, if you aren’t interested in using the app anymore, go to brizzly.com/billing/. Once there, hit the big red ‘Cancel‘ button to discontinue using the service.
Brizzly+ is still not a full-blown version of Twitter. As such, there’s no app available either for iOS or Android platforms. However, the developer claims, it is optimized for mobile device use and can be set to use directly from your Home Screen on Android or iPhone. For example, if you are using an iPhone, open the Safari browser, go to Brizzly.com and tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down until you see the ‘Add to Home screen‘ option. Now, tap the option to add Brizzly to Home Screen and start editing tweets.
