How to set ringtone on iPhone?
The Files app on your iPhone allows you to organize your files no matter where they’re located (on your device, in the cloud, on an external drive, or file server). You can use it to download your favorite song/music.
Once downloaded successfully and stored in the Files, open the GarageBand app.
The app is fully equipped as a music creation studio you can use to create and set a note as a ringtone on your iPhone.
Choose an instrument. As you can see in the screenshot above, I’ve chosen Keyboard.
Tap on the Project icon.
Now, switch to the Loop icon (visible in the upper-right corner). Tap ‘Browse items from the Files app’.
Now, drag and drop the file inside the Project menu of the Garage Band app.
Tap the track and drag the ends to trim the audio recording to a desired length.
After cropping the file to the desired length, hit the Drop-down button and select the My Songs option.
The custom tone you just finished creating will show up under the Recents list as ‘My Song’.
Long-press My Songs to access additional options.
Select Share icon.
Now, choose a custom format for My Song. Here, tap Ringtone to create a custom ringtone for your iPhone.
Hit the Export link to export the ringtone.
Wait for a few seconds to allow the GarageBand app to export the file as ringtone.
Now, tap Use Sound as option.
From the list of options displayed, select Standard Ringtone and hit the Done button.
Hope that makes sense!
