Quiet Mode helps users manage how they spend their time at home. It is available on Facebook’s ‘Your Time on Facebook’ dashboard and works both manually and on a set schedule, depending upon the user’s preference.
How to activate quiet mode on Facebook?
Quiet Mode, when enabled will let a user mute most of the push notifications. Also, if the user attempts to open the Facebook app while in Quiet Mode, he’ll be reminded to limit his time in the app. Read the instructions given below to enable the quiet mode on Facebook.
- Open the Facebook app.
- Go to Settings & privacy.
- Scroll down to Your time on Facebook entry.
- Navigate to the Manage your Time tab.
- toggle the switch for quiet mode.

To activate the mode, open the Facebook app on your iOS device and go to the Settings & Privacy menu.
Expand the menu to locate ‘Your Time on Facebook’.
When directed to a new screen, hit ‘Manage your time’ tab.
Here, toggle the switch next to the Quiet mode option to enable it right away and configure the time limit for it.
Likewise, you can schedule the Facebook new ‘Quiet Mode‘ by adding a schedule.
Tap the Add Schedule button.
Then, select a start time, end time, and day or days of the week for quiet mode. The set schedule will continue until you turn it off.
When enabled, most of the push notifications will be muted and notification dots limited.
