How to hide orders on Amazon?
By default, Amazon leaves your purchase history open under the Returns & Orders section. As such, it can be accessed readily by simply navigating to the top of every page. That said, if you wish to hide orders on Amazon from prying eyes, you’ll need to archive Amazon orders. See how it’s done!
- Login your Amazon account.
- Go to Returns & Orders.
- Scroll through the list of items to find the order that you want to hide.
- Click View order details link.
- Hit the Archive order button.
- Your orders will be hidden.
What happens to archived Amazon orders?
When you choose to archive orders on Amazon, all those orders will be removed from the default order history view. Bear in mind, these items won’t be deleted or removed from search, but just hidden from public view. Moreover, whenever required, such items can be available for viewing under the View Archived Orders section of your Amazon account.
How to hide Amazon orders?
Open a new tab in your browser and go to your Amazon account. Login with your details.
When the page opens, navigate to the Returns & Orders tab in the upper-right corner.
In the Order history page that appears, scroll through the list of items to find the order that you want to hide.
Next, click View order details link as shown in the image above.
To hide an item from the history, hit the Archive order button. Note – everything you ordered alongside the selected item will be archived.
When prompted with a message, hit the Archive order button again.
Instantly, Amazon will stop the order from showing in the default order history view.
How do I find Archived orders?
You can access archived orders by visiting Your Account under Accounts & Lists heading. Then, simply choose the Archived Orders button found on the Your Account page to see the list of archived items. You’re limited to 500 archived orders per account.

Lastly, it is important to mention here, the option to archive an order is only visible when browsing Amazon on your computer or your Smartphone’s web browser, running in the Desktop mode. You can’t use an app to take the action.
