How to hide iPhone Home Screen Pages in an easy way

iPhone Home Screen in new iOS 14 offers an option to add widgets for quick-access functionality. Using this feature, users can see information about the weather, or get quick news updates. They can also display images of their choice or customize the appearance of default widgets and hide certain pages. Read this column to know how to hide iPhone Home Screen Pages in the new iOS 14.

How to hide iPhone Home Screen pages?

The latest iteration of iOS – iOS 14 offers a new app-management feature. So, if you have a dozen shortcuts programmed to use Siri, you can benefit from the built-in capabilities of the new widget system. However, if there are apps that you hardly use or never use then, disabling the widget for such pages would appear as desirable. With iOS 14, you can easily hide iPhone Home Screen pages to streamline how your Home Screen looks. Here’s how!

  1. Touch empty area on your Home Screen.
  2. Select Menu.
  3. Tap circle to hide
  4. Hit Done.
  5. To move individual apps from the Home Screen to the App Library, touch and hold the app.
  6. Choose the Remove button.
  7. Select Move to App Library.

Please note that the following procedure does not delete or remove the apps permanently. It merely keeps the apps away from your sight and makes the interface look less cluttered. That way, and then redownload apps again, you don’t end up having to hunt through pages just to get the one you need.

How to hide Home Screen pages?

Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen.

Tap the Menu visible as dots near the bottom of your screen.

Tap the circle under the page that you want to hide.

Tap Done.

To unhide a page, repeat the steps above. Then use the App Library to quickly find apps hidden on different pages.

Move apps to the App Library

Instead of hiding a page on your Home Screen, you can move individual apps from the Home Screen to the App Library. Here’s how:

Touch and hold the app. Then, select the Remove App option. When done, choose the Move to App Library option.
