App Store icon missing from your iPhone or iPad

Before proceeding further, make sure the icon is not in a folder. Check the Home screen and every folder. You can also use the search bar to find it. If these tricks fail to yield the desired results, do the following.

Launch ‘Settings’ app on your iOS device.

From the list of options displayed, select ‘Screen Time’. The app helps you better understand the usage of your mobile phones.

Locate ‘Content & Privacy Restriction’ option. When found, choose the option. If prompted for a code, enter your ‘Restrictions passcode’. After you confirm your passcode, you’ll be asked to enter your Apple ID and password. Enter it and proceed further.

Now tap on ‘iTunes & App Store Purchases’.

In the next screen that appears, select ‘Installing Apps’

Here, make sure the toggle for ‘Installing Apps’ is set to ‘ON’ position. If in case, it’s Off, turn it On.

That’s it!

Once, you have completed the above steps, the App Store icon should reappear on your iPhone Home Screen.
