How to use Hidden Album iPhone lock

All of us do have some pictures we don’t want others to scroll through. Luckily, iOS 14 has added the Hidden Album iPhone lock feature to keep them safe. You can use it to hide all your private photos. Learn to utilize this newly built capability to hide images from prying eyes.

How to enable Hidden Album iPhone lock?

Earlier, an option to hide pictures from the ‌Photos‌ tab and For You tab of the ‌Photos‌ app did exist. However, the images would still show up under the Albums section, labeled as ‘Hidden’. This wasn't a fool-proof method of keeping the private images hidden. The shortcoming has been finally addressed by adding the Hidden Album iPhone lock? So, if you don’t want to outright delete the photos but still hide photos on iPhone, read further! Here's all you need to know how to fully hide photos on iPhone .

  1. Go to the Photos App on your iPhone 11.
  2. Tap the Select button to choose the images you would want to hide.
  3. Press the Share button.
  4. Share Sheet's actions menu, select Hide.
  5. The photos will still be visible under an album called Hidden.
  6. To hide it from view, go to Settings.
  7. Scroll down to Photos.
  8. Set the toggle for Hidden Album to OFF position.

While many users continue to rely on some third-party solutions, Apple has finally implemented the most requested feature in full in iOS 14.

Go to the Photos app on your iPhone and tap the Select button to choose the photos you want to hide.

Hit the Share icon visible at the bottom of the Phone Screen.

Then, choose Hide from Share Sheet’s actions menu.

Instantly, the selected photos will be hidden but will be still visible under an album called Hidden.

To hide it completely from the view, go to Settings > Photos.

Find and set the toggle for Hidden Album to OFF position.

Thus, by configuring this new option on your iPhone or iPad, you can easily store photos out of sight.
