How to find if your Instagram Highlights Cover has been viewed

For Instagram addicts, it can be difficult to figure out who viewed their regular photo or video posts, but, when it comes to highlights, they can easily check if someone has viewed their Instagram Highlights Cover by following a simple procedure, manually. How to create an Instagram highlight covers and check if someone has seen it?

The story is the main feature of Instagram while Instagram Highlights is a part of it. So, when you post a story, it remains active for 24 hours only and disappears from the full view thereafter. But, if you have the Archive setting enabled, you can go back and revisit your Instagram Story archive. Also, you can use the same archived stories to create highlights on Instagram. So, let’s create Instagram Highlights Cover!

  1. Check if the Archive setting is enabled.
  2. Go to your Profile page.
  3. Tap the Person icon at the bottom.
  4. Select Menu.
  5. Choose Settings.
  6. Go to Privacy > Story.
  7. Scroll down to Saving to enable Save to Archive option.
  8. Navigate to your profile page. Tap the New button.
  9. Choose a story from the Archive.
  10. Give it a title and hit the Done button.
  11. Tap the Highlight and hit the Seen by button.
  12. in the bottom-left corner of the screen to see the list of people who saw your highlight.

How to make Instagram Highlights Cover?

Firstly, you need to check if the Archive setting is enabled. For this, go to your Profile page and tap the Person icon, visible at the bottom of the screen.

Next, select Menu (seen as 3 horizontal bars) and choose Settings from the list of options displayed.

Next, navigate to Privacy section > Story.

Scroll down to the Saving section and look for to Save to Archive option. When seen, slide the toggle to enable it.

Again, go back to your Profile page, tap the Your Story button (Seen as a circle with a + sign located under the Story Highlights section).

Choose a story from the Archive you want to make a Highlight from by tapping them. Edit the Instagram Highlight cover template by assigning a suitable name. then, hit Add button.

Tap the Highlight to view it.

Can you see who views your highlights on Instagram?

Yes! Go to your profile, tap the highlight icon, and hit the ‘Seen by‘ button to find if someone has viewed your highlights cover on Instagram.

What’s the difference between Instagram Stories and Instagram Highlights?

The lifespan is one of the main features that separate from normal posts. Unlike Instagram Stories whose lifespan is of just 24 hours, Instagram Highlight Covers, stays indefinitely until removed by the creator, manually.
