How to use Apple Watch Tip Calculator

The social cost of appearing stingy or unfriendly in proposing an even split of a bill (dining) may seem daunting but if you’re cost-conscious, you shouldn’t mind choosing the option. Calculating the portion of the tax and tip that apply to that share can be done with the Apple Watch Tip Calculator.

  1. Open the Calculator app on your Apple Watch.
  2. Enter the total of the bill.
  3. Tap the TIP button.
  4. 10% tip is the default.
  5. Use the Digital Crown to change the value.
  6. Tap the People button.
  7. Turn the Digital Crown clockwise to set the number of people.
  8. Split the bill accordingly.

To make this feature work, make sure your watchOS is updated watchOS 6 or later versions. In addition, you should keep in mind that the tip feature is available in selected countries and regions only.
