It’s no secret that Facebook offers more than one way to share and create content through its platform. For instance, if you take a lot of photos with your smartphone but hate typing on the tiny keyboard, you can directly upload or add Photos from mobile to Facebook Desktop version. Yes, the social networking giant has added the feature its users have just been asking for.

How to directly add photos from mobile to Facebook Desktop version?

Although the method to add photos from mobile to Facebook Desktop version is relatively unknown to many users, it does exist! You just need to dig a little bit deeper to find it. See how it’s done!

  1. Log into your Facebook Desktop version.
  2. Click inside How to Upload a Picture From Your Phone to Facebook to create a post.
  3. Click the Photos icon.
  4. Look for the Add photos and videos from your mobile device heading.
  5. Hit the Add button next to the above heading.
  6. Tap the notification sent to your Facebook mobile app.
  7. Add photos or videos.
  8. Hit the Done button.

I chanced upon this cross-platform posting accidentally, while creating a post on the Facebook Desktop version.

How to Upload a Picture From Your Phone to Facebook?

Firstly, for this feature to work, it’s essential that both devices, your Smartphone, and computer are logged in to the same Facebook account. It doesn’t matter if they are connected to separate Wi-Fi networks.

Next, on your Facebook homepage, click inside the empty What’s on your mind field to create a post.

In the box that appears, look for the Photos icon at the bottom of the window. Click it to display various options.

Scroll down a bit to locate the Add photos and videos from your mobile device heading. It’s located just below the Add Photos/Videos entry.

Hit the Add button next to the above heading.

Instantly, a notification will be sent to your Smartphone. Tap the notification on your mobile device to go to the gallery and select photos and videos to add.

Hit the Done button to upload the photos directly to the Facebook Desktop version.

Is there a limit to upload photos on Facebook?

No, on Facebook, there is no limit to the number of photos you can upload. However, it’s advisable to create a photo album to post many photos. That way, you can share more than 80 photos in a single post and publish them.
